Serves as the embedded HR advisor for production, operations, and program teams. Responsibilities include employee relations, investigations, performance management, onboarding, workforce planning, organizational design, compliance with federal contractor and Texas employment requirements, and employee record management. The role supports rapid hiring growth, acquired-team integration, safety and security eligibility processes, compensation cycles, and manager consultation across multiple manufacturing and laboratory sites.

Owns full-cycle recruiting for technical, production, and leadership roles across a government contractor’s manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include sourcing passive and active candidates, managing high-volume requisitions, developing veteran and regional pipelines, screening eligibility requirements, coordinating compliance and pre-employment steps, partnering with hiring managers, presenting offers, and representing the company at recruiting events. The role requires regular travel to company sites and supports hiring across defense, energetics, chemistry, quality, engineering, supply chain, and leadership functions.

Serves as the company’s first dedicated IT hire, providing helpdesk support, device provisioning, endpoint management, systems and network administration, identity and access management, backups, and disaster recovery. Establishes baseline information security controls, supports NIST 800-171/CMMC compliance, responds to incidents, manages IT vendors, handles onboarding and offboarding, and documents procedures across Austin and Ballinger locations.
