Develop and prototype sensors, mechanisms, actuators, electronics, firmware, and electromechanical systems for autonomous underwater robots. Take concepts through CAD design, fabrication, assembly, bring-up, experimentation, and proof-of-concept testing. Build and debug prototype PCBs, wiring, embedded systems, and communication interfaces, then document results and hand successful concepts to engineering owners for production development.

Design and develop structures, mechanisms, fixtures, tooling, and hardware for a marine robot that cleans and inspects ships. Own components or systems from requirements through testing, perform mechanical and finite element analysis, source hardware, and collaborate with electrical, firmware, GNC, and mechanical engineering teams to integrate reliable vehicle hardware.

Designs, builds, tests, integrates, and troubleshoots electrical systems for autonomous underwater marine robots. Responsibilities include schematics, PCB layouts, power distribution, cable harnesses, sensing, communications, waterproof electronics, system integration, validation, field testing, repairs, and reliability improvements. The role requires hands-on PCB bring-up, debugging, soldering, cable fabrication, electrical testing, and collaboration with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, GNC, and test teams.
