Leads business development across assigned territories by managing producer and distributor relationships, driving profitable new business and renewals, coordinating internal subject-matter experts, educating agents and clients, and managing account pipelines. The role develops territory strategies, conducts sales meetings, evaluates distributor performance, identifies target accounts, supports strategic growth, and ensures effective follow-through. Travel of up to 50% is required for distributor and client meetings and events.

Supports the underwriting team through policy data entry, submission and document review, file management, correspondence, policy issuance, reporting, regulatory requests, and administrative coordination. Ensures records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies while liaising with underwriting, IT, product, legal, tax, and other departments.

Manages claims and litigation activities, including coverage analysis, reserves, liability evaluation, settlements, defense counsel oversight, audits, policies, workflow, reporting, and staff performance. The role supervises claims professionals handling medical malpractice and severe bodily injury claims, ensures regulatory and company compliance, supports training and strategic planning, and advises leadership on claim status and settlement decisions.
