Own the physical robot platform from concept through manufacturing and assembly. Responsibilities include product visualization, CAD modeling of structures and mechanisms, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, design for manufacturing and assembly, and applying GD&T, tolerances, tooling, and material-selection expertise. The role requires high agency, speed, and hands-on hardware development in an in-person founding-team environment.

Own the operating system for overnight robotic retail shifts, including store launches, staffing, playbooks, reporting, escalations, customer coordination, and operational improvements. The role partners closely with the Head of Operations, shift leads, teleoperators, customers, and engineers to ensure successful deployments and translate shift learnings into process and product decisions. Travel to customer stores in Sweden and Finland is required.

Develop and deploy manipulation and navigation autonomy for robots operating in live retail stores. The role combines vision-language-action models, learned control, classical planning, perception, and control. Engineers own problems end to end, from observing store operations through shipping reliable robot behavior. The position requires hands-on experience with real robots, sound judgment about classical versus learned approaches, rapid learning, and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment.
