Lead and supervise a small civils team across Cornwall, ensuring safe, compliant completion of kerbing, drainage and footway works. Manage plant/materials, interpret utility and construction plans, conduct daily safety briefings, complete site records, and report incidents.

Work on large surfacing contracts across Cornwall and Devon as a tarmac operative (paver driver, screwman, roller driver, banksman). Ensure plant and equipment safety, wear PPE, support junior staff, maintain high-quality workmanship, and follow site procedures on major highways and surfacing projects.

Undertake manual civils and surfacing tasks including concreting, drainage, masonry, kerbing, patching and paver operation. Work safely with plant/equipment, wear PPE, support less-experienced operatives, and maintain quality on public and private contracts across the South West.

Operate vehicles and mobile/static plant in a working quarry, perform a range of operational and manual tasks, maintain safety and environmental standards, keep driver/vehicle records, report incidents, and support production of aggregates and recycling operations.

Coordinate and schedule reablement and home support visits, produce and maintain care and risk assessments, liaise with hospital discharge and community teams, manage capacity and care runs, investigate incidents/safeguarding, promote assistive technologies, maintain records and participate in rota including alternate weekends.

Provide road-crossing assistance to children and adults at designated school crossing sites. Work outdoors on weekdays during school term time for one to two hours per day. Full uniform and training provided. Successful appointment requires a relevant DBS check.
