Coordinates Sales and Marketing operations, including meetings, timelines, CRM administration, reporting, dashboards, onboarding, training, vendor relationships, collateral management, and process automation. The role connects Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Product teams; manages creative production and go-to-market technology; identifies operational bottlenecks; and drives continuous improvement. Occasional travel may be required for event support.

Coordinates business development and licensing pipelines, including prospect research, deal tracking, negotiation support, NDAs, royalty compliance, and leadership reporting. Supports patent operations by coordinating invention disclosures, prosecution tracking, portfolio mapping, claim charts, and technical summaries. Builds cross-functional tracking systems, manages external relationships, and improves processes across partnership and intellectual property workstreams.

Lead architecture and implementation of fleet telemetry, time-series storage, streaming pipelines, and CRM/warehouse integrations on AWS. Build tools for proactive fleet health, partner cross-functionally (firmware, manufacturing, ops), support on-call as systems mature, and design LLM-driven automations to increase team leverage.

Lead design and implementation of cloud, mobile, and internal software systems. Build data pipelines, support device integration, ship reliable production features, mentor engineers, and participate in occasional on-call incident response.

Develop and maintain firmware for induction ranges, collaborate with hardware teams, implement features, document code, and solve issues in embedded systems.

The Director of Business Development will establish Copper's sales presence on the East Coast, manage the sales cycle, develop partnerships, and collaborate across teams to ensure successful deal execution while building a strong pipeline in the multifamily sector.

Provide analytical support across finance, operations, and sales, focusing on financial data, variance analysis, and improving data quality. Collaborate with various departments and perform modeling for budgeting, forecasting, and operational metrics.

Manage day-to-day execution of pilots and energy programs for Copper products: coordinate partners, run meetings, maintain documentation and trackers, support installations, partner with Engineering/Product through NPI cycles, surface risks, track policy/market developments, and support market research for new programs.
