Enterprise Analytics interns support data analysis and visualization projects across healthcare operations. They conduct exploratory and advanced analytics, use Tableau and analytical tools, participate in the full project lifecycle, collaborate with analytics team members and business leaders, define business problems, and communicate actionable insights. The role offers flexible scheduling of up to 40 hours weekly.

Verifies patients’ insurance coverage, obtains benefits and pre-certifications, and refers underinsured patients to financial assistance. Provides coverage guidance, scheduling, front-desk, registration, and administrative support while applying medical insurance and billing knowledge. Requires hospital or physician-office insurance verification experience, familiarity with specified systems, and a high school diploma. Bilingual ability and knowledge of medical assistance programs are preferred.

Financially clears inpatient and outpatient services before scheduled care. Verifies insurance eligibility, benefits, coordination of benefits, authorizations, referrals, copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance. Updates inactive insurance information, explains coverage, collects patient liability payments, and refers underinsured patients to financial screening navigators. The role requires hospital or physician-office insurance verification or registration experience, familiarity with payer systems and medical insurance requirements, and proficiency with registration, billing, and electronic medical record systems.
