The Business Systems Analyst elicits and documents functional and non-functional requirements, translates business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and supports technology delivery. Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, architects, developers, and stakeholders; planning and executing UAT; tracking defects; maintaining requirements traceability; and identifying risks, gaps, and dependencies. The role also contributes to improving analysis standards and documentation practices.

Lead enterprise data architecture and analytics solutions using SSRS, Power BI, Snowflake, and dbt. Design scalable data models and pipelines, optimize Snowflake performance, establish data governance and quality standards, oversee SDLC and change management, and partner with technical and business stakeholders. The role also mentors analytics engineers, leads cross-functional data projects, and resolves complex data issues to support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Process payroll and direct deposits, audit and reconcile payroll records, resolve employee pay questions, maintain employee and timekeeping information, prepare payroll reports, support year-end tax activities, troubleshoot payroll systems, and ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation. The role also requires confidentiality, accurate recordkeeping, audit support, and collaboration with Finance, Human Resources, Operations, and employees.
