The Role

As a Project Manager, you independently manage IT initiatives from initiation through close-out. You apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate and work closely with Business Analysts, IT delivery teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. This role is well-suited to an emerging project management professional looking to deepen their delivery skills within a structured PMO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage small-to-medium projects, including scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methods with confidence, adapting approach to project needs.
  • Facilitate requirements clarification and delivery planning with Business Systems Analysts and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project financials, monitor variances, and support forecasting and budget alignment.
  • Coordinate delivery across IT teams, business partners, and third-party vendors.
  • Prepare and deliver clear project status updates, dashboards, and reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure project documentation meets PMO governance and quality standards.
  • Support benefits tracking and ensure alignment to business objectives.
  • Contribute to PMO continuous improvement through lessons learned and process refinement.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience coordinating or managing projects in an IT or business environment.
  • Practical experience applying Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning at the project level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Monday.com, MS Project, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
