Develop and maintain OpenBao core features, plugins, storage backends, and secrets engines in Go. Collaborate on architecture, technical RFCs, secure coding, vulnerability remediation, testing, CI/CD, release workflows, and supply chain security. Participate in upstream open-source development, review contributions, triage issues, and build security tooling and integrations. The role requires strong Go systems engineering and knowledge of authentication, authorization, cryptography, PKI/TLS, and cloud-native infrastructure.

Provides cloud-native consulting for clients, focusing on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, GitOps, CI/CD, and secure-by-design architectures. The role includes customer delivery, internal laboratory projects, open-source contributions, pre-sales support, and development of hardened cloud systems. Candidates need strong Kubernetes and cloud experience, programming skills in Go, Python, or Java, consulting experience, and awareness of cloud security. Experience with SPIFFE/SPIRE, Vault/OpenBao, and zero-trust architectures is desirable.

Provides technical consulting and pre-sales solution architecture for OpenBao and Vault secrets management. Leads discovery, proposals, demonstrations, proofs of concept, enterprise deployments, migrations, upgrades, hardening, and disaster recovery strategies across cloud-native and on-premises environments. Advises clients on security and compliance, collaborates with global delivery teams, contributes to open-source security projects, and represents the company at conferences and community events.
