Build and lead Contoro Robotics’ finance function, owning strategic finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, capital strategy, fundraising support, cash management, GAAP reporting, controls, finance systems, and corporate operations. The role partners with the CEO and leadership team, develops asset and deployment economics, manages advisors and auditors, and builds a scalable finance organization for a growing robotics startup.

Supports day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, transaction coding, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, expense management, and financial documentation. Tracks costs for customer deployment projects, maintains AP and AR records, prepares routine reports, and assists with month-end and year-end activities. The role also supports audits, tax preparation, investor due diligence, process improvements, and coordination with employees, vendors, operations teams, the Director of Finance, and external accountants.

Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical, engineering, operational, and corporate roles. Responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, ATS administration, recruiting metrics, talent pipeline development, university recruiting, employer branding, and candidate experience. The role partners with hiring managers and HR leadership in a fast-paced robotics startup and also supports onboarding, workforce planning, and other talent initiatives.

Develop production robotics software for trajectory execution, task sequencing, hardware coordination, autonomy behaviors, fault recovery, and system integration. Diagnose deployed robot issues using telemetry, logs, simulation, and physical testing. Improve cycle time and reliability while integrating motion planning with controllers, sensors, end effectors, conveyors, and safety systems. Collaborate across perception, controls, hardware, testing, and deployment teams.

Build and qualify relationships with warehouse and distribution operators across Southern California. Visit customer sites, assess operational fit, manage follow-ups and CRM data, prepare proposals and performance reports, and support trade shows, networking, outbound campaigns, inbound leads, and sales content. The role requires frequent regional travel, warehouse-floor work, and close collaboration with the business development team to develop robotics automation opportunities.

Lead motion planning and trajectory optimization for a high-DOF manipulator, turning planned paths into time-optimal, dynamically feasible, safe trajectories. Own path planning architecture, integrate perception, validate performance in simulation and hardware, define metrics, benchmark approaches, and mentor engineers to improve cycle time and reliability.

The Senior Robotics Engineer will lead perception and sensor fusion projects, implement localization methods, and integrate multi-modal sensors for autonomous robotics in warehouse automation.
