Supports business development across CRM and sales pipeline management, account research, outbound campaigns, proposals, customer reporting, events, customer support, and site visits. The intern will build AI and automation workflows, coordinate follow-ups, monitor deployed robot performance, assist with installations and demos, and maintain customer relationships. This is an on-site Austin role requiring organization, strong writing, a valid driver’s license, and occasional travel.

Develop production robotics software for trajectory execution, task sequencing, hardware coordination, autonomy behaviors, fault recovery, and system integration. Diagnose deployed robot issues using telemetry, logs, simulation, and physical testing. Improve cycle time and reliability while integrating motion planning with controllers, sensors, end effectors, conveyors, and safety systems. Collaborate across perception, controls, hardware, testing, and deployment teams.

Build and qualify relationships with warehouse and distribution operators across Southern California. Visit customer sites, assess operational fit, manage follow-ups and CRM data, prepare proposals and performance reports, and support trade shows, networking, outbound campaigns, inbound leads, and sales content. The role requires frequent regional travel, warehouse-floor work, and close collaboration with the business development team to develop robotics automation opportunities.
