Lead and deliver internal and collaborative biotech projects, including Innovate UK grants and drug development programs. Coordinate cross-functional teams, track budgets and timelines, manage risks, ensure grant and regulatory compliance, prepare regulatory submissions, and oversee external partnerships to meet project objectives.

Lead development and scale-up of purification and processing strategies for recombinant proteins and peptides, perform analytical method development (LC/MS, HPLC), support process optimisation, validation, technoeconomic assessment, and technology transfer to CROs/CMOs while ensuring quality, safety and cross-functional communication.

Perform tRNA display and aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase/tRNA selection experiments, optimize display pipelines, troubleshoot protocols, maintain detailed electronic lab notebooks, and contribute to team meetings to advance genetic code expansion discovery.
