Supports daily fleet maintenance operations by assigning and prioritizing mechanic work, coordinating projects, troubleshooting diesel equipment, advising on repairs and parts, maintaining diagnostic software and technical manuals, coordinating with parts departments and vendors, and assisting with coach acceptance. Performs journeyman mechanical work and drives coaches as needed. Requires five years of journey-level vehicular maintenance experience, heavy-duty diesel expertise, diagnostic technology proficiency, and a Washington license with CDL passenger endorsement.

Serves as chief legal advisor to the CEO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors for a public transportation agency. Oversees governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, labor and employment, procurement, public records, risk management, litigation, real estate, environmental matters, outside counsel, and legal budgets. Advises on strategic initiatives, capital projects, policy decisions, legislative developments, and organizational risk.

Leads transit infrastructure capital projects from initiation through design, construction, and closeout. Manages scope, schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, consultants, contractors, procurement, regulatory requirements, stakeholder communication, project performance, and construction impacts. Makes routine decisions independently, escalates major issues, and ensures projects meet approved scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.

Lead public procurement and contracting activities from solicitation development through contract closeout. Develop specifications, manage RFPs and related solicitations, conduct evaluations and negotiations, administer contracts, advise stakeholders on procurement laws and risk, coordinate project teams, support audits, and promote SBE/DBE participation. The role also involves vendor management, contract compliance, procurement training, policy guidance, and public or interagency presentations.
