Operational field leader overseeing daily EMS operations, staffing, deployment, compliance, and quality assurance. Mentors lieutenants, conducts evaluations, supports interdepartmental coordination, provides direct patient care when needed, manages administrative duties, and drives workforce development and system performance.

Lead frontline field operations for a full-service EMS agency: supervise shifts, ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance, mentor Lieutenants, support interdepartmental coordination, handle administrative duties (reports, investigations, inventory), and provide direct patient care as needed. Drive workforce development, quality improvement, and leadership succession while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Provide on-duty operational leadership and oversight for EMS field operations while performing Paramedic duties as needed. Manage system status, resource deployment, equipment readiness, personnel coaching, documentation, and coordination with dispatch, healthcare partners, and public safety to ensure clinical excellence and efficient emergency response.

Receive and process emergency and non-emergency 911 calls, prioritize incidents, and dispatch EMS and fire resources using Priority Dispatch System protocols. Maintain calm caller communication, coordinate field units, operate CAD, radio, and phone systems, complete accurate incident documentation, participate in training/certification, and support daily communications center readiness.

Serve as on-duty operational supervisor supporting field EMS operations and resource deployment while also functioning as a working Paramedic. Provide real-time oversight, clinical care, personnel coaching, vehicle/equipment readiness, reporting, and coordination with dispatch, healthcare partners, and public safety. Support training, certifications, and continuity during high-demand events and system disruptions.

Oversee system status management, resource deployment, equipment readiness, personnel coaching, and direct patient care as a working Paramedic. Maintain certifications, complete administrative reporting, and support continuity during high-demand periods and special events.
