Coordinates Communities In Schools support services at a school, including needs assessments, support-plan development, tiered student services, volunteer and community engagement, progress monitoring, evaluation, and annual reporting. Builds relationships with administrators, teachers, families, students, and community partners while coordinating evidence-based interventions for students at risk of dropping out.

Supports academic instruction, tutoring, homework assistance, enrichment, student supervision, behavior management, attendance tracking, and safety procedures in an afterschool setting. Provides individual and small-group support, collaborates with school and program staff, communicates with families, maintains records, and follows confidentiality, emergency-response, and mandated-reporting requirements. Assignment may be as an Afterschool Teacher or Paraprofessional based on education, certification, and experience.
