Manage multiple talent acquisition searches from sourcing through hiring, build diverse candidate pools, develop equitable assessment tools, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure searches stay on schedule. The role also supports talent acquisition systems and processes, collective bargaining agreement compliance, onboarding, performance management, retention initiatives, and confidential staffing and labor-relations strategy. This is a full-time temporary remote position requiring travel for team or staff retreats.

Leads Common Cause California’s legislative and policy agenda, including drafting legislation, lobbying, testifying, negotiating amendments, building coalitions, managing advocacy campaigns, and representing the organization with policymakers, partners, media, donors, and the state advisory board. The role also oversees lobbying filings, communications, consultants, fundraising support, and stakeholder engagement. It is based in the Sacramento area with regular in-person Capitol work and periodic travel.
