Leads implementation of a youth-focused community safety and prevention initiative for Cold Lake First Nations. Coordinates outreach, mentorship, case supports, referrals, staff scheduling, reporting, and funding accountability. Builds relationships with youth, families, Elders, internal services, and external partners while incorporating Dene culture, language, and land-based activities. The role involves community-based work, occasional high-stress situations, flexible hours, and some evening or weekend programming.

Lead daily operations of a 24/7 women’s shelter, including supervising and scheduling staff, managing resident intake and discharge, overseeing safety planning and documentation, responding to crises, enforcing policies and confidentiality, coordinating support services, and maintaining a trauma-informed, culturally safe environment. The manager also supports staff development, training, accountability, and continuous operational improvement.
