Supports manufacturing engineering activities for assigned product accounts, including engineering change orders, BOMs, production documentation, process validation, PFMEAs, risk analyses, troubleshooting, lean manufacturing, equipment updates, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with program management, quality, operations, customers, and suppliers to implement compliant production processes, resolve issues, train personnel, and support product launches and transfers.

The role supports production personnel and program managers while maintaining bills of material, work instructions, test procedures, and manufacturing records in an ISO-regulated environment.

Manage medium-volume electro-mechanical assembly and test production, ensuring safety, quality, training, staffing, and schedule performance. Lead Lean and 6S initiatives to reduce waste, costs, inventory, and lead times while improving efficiency. Oversee hiring, coaching, performance management, capacity planning, production goals, work instructions, quality resolution, ERP-based planning, and communication with customers and suppliers.

Supervise manufacturing personnel, assign work, meet production schedules and budgets, ensure product quality, provide employee training and performance feedback, maintain a safe workplace, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams on troubleshooting, process control, and testing.

Process bi-weekly payroll, reconcile payroll and cash transactions, prepare general ledger entries, manage benefits deductions and 401(k) funding, administer garnishments, validate time records, generate reports, support ADP users, and maintain employee data in ADP and UKG systems. Ensure compliance with payroll tax, wage and hour, garnishment, and IRS requirements while handling adjustments, verifications, and benefits invoices.

The Quality Engineer II ensures compliance standards are met, leads training, supports process validation, reviews quality records, and collaborates with teams to address quality issues using various analytical techniques.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will improve manufacturing processes and efficiencies, support NPI, and guide junior staff while ensuring product quality and documenting processes.
