Provides confidential administrative support for a city department, including calendar scheduling, correspondence, meeting and board coordination, records management, project tracking, research, purchasing, travel authorizations, expense reporting, invoice reconciliation, and complaint resolution. The role also supports policy, budget, and contract development, coordinates with city departments, maintains official records, and may oversee office administrative staff.

Manages municipal construction and capital improvement projects from planning through closeout. Responsibilities include consultant and contractor selection, contract and bid administration, budgets, schedules, design review, change orders, payments, compliance, project reporting, public coordination, and development of five-year capital improvement plans. Provides technical guidance to city leadership, engineers, contractors, and agencies while overseeing construction policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Locates, documents, collects, preserves, photographs, and processes evidence from crime scenes, traffic fatalities, and search warrants. Performs latent print analysis using chemical methods and alternate light sources, maintains chain of custody, prepares reports, submits evidence for laboratory analysis, fingerprints individuals, responds to records requests, assists investigations, and provides expert court testimony. The role requires rotating on-call availability, exposure to hazardous conditions, and successful completion of background, polygraph, oral board, and psychological evaluations.

Manages Legal and Real Estate Department programs, including procurement and contract review, public information requests, knowledge and records management, and departmental budgeting. Provides project coordination, administrative support, research, reporting, document preparation, workflow management, onboarding, and staff training. Requires independent judgment, confidentiality, municipal government knowledge, and coordination with attorneys, city departments, purchasing staff, and the Attorney General.

Provides customer service and registration support for park recreation programs and memberships. Handles payments, cash reconciliation, member paperwork, inquiries, complaints, reports, equipment distribution, facility opening and closing, safety monitoring, cleaning, and special events. Works with adults and children, supports computer data entry and filing, and assists with program operations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of customer service or public contact experience, a Texas Class C driver's license, and CPR and First Aid certification within six months.

Provide customer service at Garey Park: register participants, collect fees, issue equipment, monitor activities for safety and policy compliance, complete reports, assist with events, perform basic facility maintenance, and support administrative tasks.

Plan, manage, and evaluate aquatics operations, staff, budgets, and programs. Ensure safety, training, water quality, facility maintenance, events, and customer service for city pool facilities.

Lead the Citys historic preservation and downtown redevelopment initiatives: manage design review, provide technical and policy guidance, liaise with Historic and Architectural Review Commission, coordinate master plan implementation, supervise staff, assist with development code updates, and support property owners and developers through preservation processes.
