Manages the full grant lifecycle, including applications, compliance, reimbursements, reconciliations, reporting, and closeout. Performs governmental accounting for special revenue funds and economic development entities, prepares journal entries, financial statements, audit schedules, budget adjustments, and annual reporting. Supports Workday financial system testing, internal audits, year-end closeout, fixed-asset accounting, and policy training. Coordinates with grantors and City departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and accountability.

Supports municipal accounting through journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, audit preparation, and compliance. Senior-level duties additionally include grant, fund, fixed asset, capital project, and special project accounting; management reporting; internal controls; and process improvement. The role requires knowledge of GAAP, GASB, governmental fund accounting, budgeting, financial systems, and audit procedures.

Manages Legal and Real Estate Department programs, including procurement and contract review, public information requests, knowledge and records management, and departmental budgeting. Provides project coordination, administrative support, research, reporting, document preparation, workflow management, onboarding, and staff training. Requires independent judgment, confidentiality, municipal government knowledge, and coordination with attorneys, city departments, purchasing staff, and the Attorney General.
