Maintains and administers electric utility engineering and operational technology applications, including GIS, outage management, staking/design, and engineering analysis systems. Ensures accurate data integration, asset records, GIS layers, system interfaces, and electric distribution models. Supports distribution design, planning studies, mapping, reporting, database querying, and coordination with internal departments and external entities. Requires expertise in ArcGIS, Milsoft platforms, electric distribution engineering, SQL databases, and related design technologies.

Supports energy portfolio management through load forecasting, power purchasing, hedging, wholesale scheduling, QSE bidding, invoice reconciliation, and settlement activities. Assists with energy risk management strategies, ERCOT market credit requirements, renewable energy certificate transactions, compliance, and purchase-power reporting. The role requires analyzing complex market and financial data, coordinating with finance, and applying operational controls.

Provides confidential administrative support for a city department, including calendar scheduling, correspondence, meeting and board coordination, records management, project tracking, research, purchasing, travel authorizations, expense reporting, invoice reconciliation, and complaint resolution. The role also supports policy, budget, and contract development, coordinates with city departments, maintains official records, and may oversee office administrative staff.
