Manage and improve production operations, supervise and develop staff, enforce safety and quality standards, schedule and monitor production, implement lean practices, and ensure productivity targets and compliance with procedures.

Apply wax, cleaners, and tape to molds per procedures for gelcoat production. Use pneumatic and hand tools, complete production documentation, follow schedules, maintain safety and PPE, and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Supervise internal quality/inspection team to reduce defects and improve outgoing product quality. Implement inspection/testing procedures, lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, train and mentor inspectors, gather and analyze quality metrics, and support product release and manufacturing process improvements.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment. Facilitate Kaizen events, perform root cause analysis, develop standardized work, analyze performance data, train teams, and report KPIs and cost savings to leadership.

Supervise daily shipping operations for parts and repaired units, ensuring accurate picking, packing, documentation, carrier coordination, on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, safety enforcement, staff training, and continuous improvement to meet service-level and warranty commitments.

Serve as technical expert for manufacturing process engineering: diagnose production issues, develop and document processes and SOPs, optimize layouts (CAD), support quality and continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S), and assist operations in process-improvement initiatives.
