Manage Co-op's indirect tax reporting and compliance (VAT and Plastic Packaging Tax), handle HMRC enquiries and audits, provide proactive tax advice, support forecasting and tax cashflow, identify process improvements, work on corporate development tasks, and coach junior staff to strengthen tax controls and governance.

Manage and resolve supplier invoice queries and disputes for food goods, complete reconciliations, liaise with suppliers, depots and buying teams, respond via email and supplier portal, and ensure timely, accurate payments.
