Lead all fund development, communications, media relations, and community engagement. Manage major and planned gift solicitations, donor stewardship, grant-seeking, events, donor database, budgets, and supervise development staff while advising the CEO and engaging the board.

Manage HR operations including payroll, compensation, compliance reporting (EEO-1, Vets-100, NIB, Affirmative Action), HRIS and personnel records, recruitment and onboarding, benefits administration, training, employee relations, policy development, and serve as primary HR contact reporting to the CEO.

Support marketing team by creating social media and website content, conducting market and competitor research, drafting blog posts and email newsletters, assisting event marketing, tracking campaign performance, preparing reports, and collaborating with design and sales teams.

Perform administrative and hands-on production tasks for braille book publication: enter and update scheduling data, maintain inventories and reports, prepare shipping, emboss and rivet books, collate print/braille pages, operate cutters and drills, and follow safety procedures. Support distribution to NLS and maintain positive workplace relationships.

Provide phone, in-person, and email customer support and sales to grow revenue and secure new customers. Assist customers with ecommerce navigation, invoicing, and payment tracking. Maintain records, coordinate with production/shipping and finance, support scheduling, and represent the organization at customer visits and expos. Ensure confidentiality and follow safety and company values.

Maintain accurate accounting records and support financial operations including full accounts payable cycle, billing, receivables, payroll processing, reconciliations, sales and use tax filings, month-end close, grant expenditure monitoring, and vendor/credit card administration.
