Leads international tax across UK, EMEA, and APAC operations, overseeing corporate tax compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, planning, advisory, and risk management. Advises senior stakeholders, manages external advisors and tax authorities, supports M&A due diligence and integration, monitors legislative developments, and improves tax automation and controls. The role requires deep UK corporate tax expertise, strong international tax knowledge, and experience in multinational financial services or fintech environments.

Build and lead scalable software solutions that automate compliance and finance regulatory reporting. Process large datasets from Snowflake, generate accurate reports, build reconciliations, and translate stakeholder requirements into technical designs. Provide technical guidance, prioritize work, develop and review code, troubleshoot issues, and improve engineering standards. Collaborate closely with Compliance, Finance, Treasury, product managers, and other business stakeholders.

Complete a master's thesis with Clear Street's Swedish Engineering team while researching a topic aligned with software engineering, artificial intelligence, mathematics, or financial modeling. The student will join an engineering team, collaborate with colleagues in Sweden and New York, and develop research based on team priorities or a mutually proposed topic. Strong analytical, problem-solving, self-directed learning, and technology skills are expected.
