Supports county grant administration by researching funding opportunities, summarizing eligibility and deadlines, maintaining grant records and calendars, coordinating economic development meetings, researching community partners, tracking outreach, and assisting with correspondence and special projects. The intern receives mentorship and gains experience in public administration, grant research, community engagement, communication, organization, and project coordination.

Oversee daily marina operations, including slip rentals, retail and fuel sales, customer service, staff supervision, boat-rental training, dock and walkway maintenance, fueling-system upkeep, cash controls, deposits, and public safety reporting. The role requires outdoor work in all weather, lifting up to 80 pounds, and knowledge of boating, fueling practices, and Missouri fish and game laws.
