Manage weekly payroll operations for approximately 850 Canadian employees across multiple provinces, entities, unions, and business units. Lead payroll staff, ensure legislative and collective-agreement compliance, oversee reconciliations, tax filings, year-end reporting, and finance coordination. Improve payroll, HRIS, time-tracking, and accounting systems; develop reporting and dashboards; and lead payroll and HRIS integrations for acquired companies, including data conversion, process alignment, communication, and training.

Install, inspect, and maintain fire sprinkler systems on construction sites; ensure safety compliance, coordinate with trades and AHJ, manage site inventory, produce reports, mentor installation crew, and document quality and change orders.

Install, modify, maintain, inspect, and repair water-based fire sprinkler systems. Perform physical labor including overhead work, cutting/threading/grooving piping, brazing, and testing. Follow NFPA and building codes, maintain safety protocols, prepare as-built drawings and test documentation, and collaborate with sales, design, engineering and project teams to complete projects.

Lead APEX fabrication, warehouse, and procurement operations; own P&L and budgeting; drive strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, ERP/inventory governance, demand forecasting, QA/safety compliance, and branch purchasing governance to improve cost, service, and operational performance.
