Leads North American product engineering for forklifts and material-handling equipment, overseeing new product development, current-product support, quality improvement, engineering resources, budgets, compliance, and customer issue resolution. Builds high-performing teams, drives innovation and cost-effective design, coordinates global engineering initiatives, supports manufacturing and dealer service, and ensures technical, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

Designs and redesigns material-handling equipment and components, gathering product data, performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic analyses, creating NX drawings, and overseeing prototypes and testing. Coordinates with manufacturing, vendors, purchasing, customers, and other engineers to ensure quality, compliance, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Investigates design problems, implements improvements, presents recommendations, and travels domestically and internationally to support product evaluation and development.
