Performs complex municipal accounting and financial analysis, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, audits, GASB implementation, and capital project monitoring. Supports financial ERP systems, accounting controls, process improvements, and cross-departmental projects. Provides financial data, evaluates procedures, assists with training, and coordinates with IT and auditors. Requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Manage multiple capital improvement projects from scoping through construction completion. Duties include contract development, cost estimating, bid preparation, coordinating utility relocations, inspections, change order and pay estimate review, supervising inspection staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and funding documentation requirements.

Responds to fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and rescue situations. Operates fire apparatus, hoses, ladders, breathing equipment, and specialized tools; performs fire suppression, forcible entry, victim rescue, EMT-B care, and CPR. Maintains equipment and station readiness, supports fire prevention and public education, installs smoke detectors, and follows OSHA and City safety standards in hazardous environments.
