Lead hematology technologist responsible for supervising hematology operations, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, managing proficiency and competency testing, maintaining instrumentation and supplies, developing IQCPs, and serving as a technical resource to laboratory staff to support accurate patient testing and CAP readiness.

Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures for inpatients and outpatients following departmental protocols. Explain procedures to patients, complete required documentation and quality control, assist front office with order verification, manage inventory, communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists, participate in quality management, and support the Radiology Manager.

Coordinate, monitor, review, and facilitate timely patient discharges. Review discharge records for accuracy and compliance, track dispositions, collaborate with nursing, case management, billing, and providers, maintain logs and reports, support audits and quality improvement, and assist with discharge-related billing and regulatory requirements.

Hospital seeks nurse graduates nearing completion of an approved nursing program for supervised orientation. Candidates must apply for NCLEX and licensure, provide ATT, work under an RN preceptor, avoid independent nursing responsibilities, and pass NCLEX within three months. Interviews with Nurse Leadership will place graduates based on openings and interest.

Provide quality nursing care following ANA standards and Maine Nurse Practice Act. Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, advocate for patients, support staff learning, and maintain required documentation and unit standards. Work scheduled 36 hours with rotating day/night shifts.

Perform diagnostic radiology, fluoroscopy, and bone density (DXA) procedures for inpatients and outpatients, maintain radiation safety and processor operation, complete QC and paperwork, assist front office with orders, manage inventory, communicate with radiologists, and participate in quality management and departmental meetings.

Provide and dispense medications, monitor therapy for interactions and adverse reactions, prepare sterile/chemotherapy/parenteral nutrition, consult with clinical staff, maintain medication records, support formulary management, and participate in quality improvement.

Process and retrieve patient medical records, file and assemble documents, handle release-of-information requests in compliance with state and federal regulations, perform final reviews, and enter/post charges. Support timely delivery of charts and maintain organization within Health Information Management.

Manage all aspects of hospital radiology services—operations, staffing, regulatory compliance, budgeting, equipment maintenance, quality assurance, scheduling, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, efficient diagnostic imaging and high patient satisfaction.
