Provides ambulatory nursing care before and after surgical and endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities include patient admission, preoperative assessment, vital signs, documentation, IV starts and discontinuation, pain management, patient education, cardiac monitoring, care coordination, and interdisciplinary communication. The RN supports patients’ physical and psychosocial needs while maintaining regulatory compliance and professional nursing standards.

Provides comprehensive intensive care nursing, including patient assessment, clinical data interpretation, care planning, medication and IV therapy, documentation, patient education, and rapid intervention for changes in condition. Coordinates multidisciplinary care, supports patient and family needs, manages workload and transfers, communicates during shift reports, and may serve as charge nurse. Works full-time night shifts and may cover weekends and holidays.

Provides emergency crisis evaluations, stabilization, psychosocial screenings, and discharge planning for primarily Emergency Department patients. Coordinates care with social workers, physicians, nurses, case managers, community agencies, and outside services. Connects patients with healthcare, mental health, transportation, housing, and social resources; supports psych/crisis care plans; manages behavioral crises; and assists with admissions, transfers, guardianship, and follow-up treatment compliance.
