The Senior/Principal Performance Engineer will lead system and application performance across products, optimize workloads, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and integrate AI tools while collaborating across teams to ensure top-tier performance outcomes.

Build, patch, and test userspace packages for Rocky Linux; improve packaging tooling and automation; remediate CVEs; develop automated tests; collaborate across engineering, product, open-source, and sales; support deployments on servers, VMs, and cloud.

Lead design, development, and support of enterprise infrastructure and services. Drive architecture discussions, prototypes, capacity planning, and system launches. Troubleshoot performance, collaborate across teams and open-source communities, document solutions, and support on-call rotations to ensure reliable, scalable cloud and Linux-based systems.

Build and maintain full‑stack features for Ascender Pro and internal apps (approx. 50/50 frontend/backend) using Python and React/TypeScript. Contribute to Go projects, participate in architecture decisions, troubleshoot full‑stack issues, use AI-assisted coding tools responsibly, and support internal engineering initiatives.

Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel components for Rocky Linux. Write and review C code, build kernel testing and automation, debug kernel-level issues, optimize performance, collaborate with hardware engineers, document designs, and mentor junior developers.
