Designs, simulates, characterizes, and optimizes high-speed RF/microwave structures and optoelectronic components for optical communications. Responsibilities include electromagnetic modeling, high-frequency measurement and calibration, data analysis, design improvement, technical reviews, multidisciplinary collaboration, and providing RF/microwave guidance within an R&D team.

Owns end-to-end optical fiber sensing architectures spanning coherent modems, optical line systems, telemetry, signal processing, analytics, and applications. Defines requirements, performance metrics, budgets, and roadmaps; validates designs through modeling, simulation, laboratory experiments, and field trials; and leads integration, verification, deployment, troubleshooting, and technical collaboration across hardware, software, product, and customer teams.

Supports customer services project delivery by coordinating implementation activities, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, communications, quality objectives, and financial targets. Analyzes proposals, develops execution approaches, tracks project performance, and collaborates with Customer Operations, Sales, Finance, Service Delivery, and other stakeholders. The role operates under senior project manager guidance in a matrix organization.
