Supervises Division Order Analysts and oversees ownership records, title and legal document analysis, interest calculations, royalty payments, suspense funds, escheat processing, audits, and SOX compliance. Partners with Land, Accounting, Legal, and owners to resolve ownership and payment issues, while improving data quality, processes, and operational controls in Enertia.

Supports monthly Joint Interest Billing and accounts receivable activities, including working interest changes, rebills, aging receivables, cash application, journal entries, reconciliations, audits, and SOX controls. The role also handles process improvements, special accounting projects, owner inquiries, and mentoring junior team members. It requires substantial oil and gas accounting experience, strong Excel skills, US GAAP knowledge, and effective communication abilities.

Provides administrative and customer support for landowners, serving as Chord Energy’s first point of contact. Responsibilities include answering inquiries, reviewing Enertia data, managing tickets, processing forms and mail, maintaining records and procedures, reporting weekly statistics, and assisting with division order and land administration projects. The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, patience, organization, and oil and gas experience.

Manages supplier price books in Enverus, including creation, updates, validation, renewals, and closures. Ensures contracted pricing is accurately applied to purchases and invoices, resolves supplier and internal pricing discrepancies, and maintains audit documentation. Supports RFx events through bid preparation and analysis, produces compliance reports, and contributes to supplier relationship management and process improvement. Uses Power BI and data analytics to maintain pricing data integrity and improve decision-making.

Provides legal counsel on upstream oil and gas transactions, operations, acquisitions, divestitures, supply chain agreements, corporate matters, regulatory issues, risk management, and dispute resolution. Drafts and negotiates leases, joint operating agreements, service contracts, conveyances, procurement agreements, and other commercial documents. Advises Land, Operations, Supply Chain, management, and other business functions on legal and business risks.

The Senior Landman coordinates land expertise for drilling, manages field Landmen, negotiates contracts, and collaborates across functions within the oil and gas sector.

Lead reservoir characterization, spacing and frac design assessments to develop type curves, forecasts, economics and development plans. Perform A&D modeling, well testing design, lookbacks, and team technical strategy. Use data analytics, Python, and machine learning principles to manage large datasets and improve workflows; mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the organization.

The Senior Financial Analyst will support Business Development and Strategic Planning by analyzing acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures, preparing financial models, and collaborating with various teams to evaluate opportunities and present findings to management.
