Provides legal counsel on upstream oil and gas transactions, operations, acquisitions, divestitures, supply chain agreements, corporate matters, regulatory issues, risk management, and dispute resolution. Drafts and negotiates leases, joint operating agreements, service contracts, conveyances, procurement agreements, and other commercial documents. Advises Land, Operations, Supply Chain, management, and other business functions on legal and business risks.

Leads oil and gas land acquisition, trade, and divestiture activities, including deal sourcing, economic evaluation, title and ownership due diligence, contract negotiation, mapping, and closing preparation. Reviews leasehold positions, working interests, and revenue interests; resolves title issues with counsel; manages post-closing obligations; and presents transaction recommendations to executives. Collaborates with Land, Legal, Engineering, Regulatory, and Geology teams while maintaining industry and regulatory knowledge.

Manage monthly and quarterly corporate forecast models, communicate key metrics to leadership, and support capital allocation decisions. Build trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, identify risks and opportunities, and improve planning workflows through automation and modern analytics. Apply Python, Snowflake SQL, and AI tools to analyze large datasets and solve complex business problems. Lead projects involving multidisciplinary contributors while providing strategic advice and accountability to corporate plans.
