Facilitates affirming group spaces for LGBTQ+ youth and allies, provides confidential individual mentorship, trains peer allies, supports student advocacy projects, and helps youth navigate identity, college, and career planning. The role also provides crisis intervention, connects students with community resources, protects confidentiality, and ensures alignment with NYC DOE transgender and gender-expansive student guidelines.

Provide administrative support for a DYCD/COMPASS after-school program: manage student registration, attendance, documentation, budgets, supplies, and communications with families, staff, and finance. Maintain organized records, support staff and volunteers, and assist Program Director and Site Supervisor to ensure smooth program operations.
