Supports kinship families involved in foster care and adoption through licensing, guardianship, courtesy supervision, navigation, home visits, meetings, court hearings, and required documentation. Partners with the Department of Child Safety and community stakeholders to promote safe, stable homes for youth. Requires regular travel throughout Maricopa County, family engagement, case coordination, critical thinking, and familiarity with child welfare resources.

Administers and tracks background checks for employees, volunteers, interns, and contractors supporting the ORR program. Reviews results, escalates findings, maintains confidential records, coordinates with screening vendors, communicates with applicants, monitors regulatory requirements, updates HR policies, and supports audits, licensing visits, onboarding, and personnel compliance.

Support Kinship families by providing guidance through licensing, court hearings, and home visits, ensuring a safe environment for youth in foster care.

Plans and facilitates onsite and offsite recreational and enrichment activities for youth. Supervises outings, maintains activity schedules, provides direct care, builds positive relationships, and supports cultural and life-skills programming. Requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, youth-services experience, a valid Arizona driver’s license, and successful completion of an agency driving test.
