Leads the HR technology ecosystem, including HRIS administration, system configuration, integrations, security, vendor management, documentation, and process improvement. Develops executive dashboards, workforce scorecards, automated reports, predictive models, and strategic insights on retention, recruiting, compensation, performance, and workforce planning. Establishes HR data governance and supports regulatory reporting while researching responsible AI solutions and automation opportunities. Partners with Finance, IT, vendors, and business leaders to improve data integrity, decision-making, and employee experience.

Support month-end close and financial reporting across multiple entities: maintain general ledger, perform account and bank reconciliations, prepare invoices and revenue schedules, assist with journal entries and GAAP-compliant financial statements, use NetSuite and Excel, and support ad hoc finance projects in a fast-paced sports environment.

Sell 50/50 raffle tickets at home games to drive fundraising revenue. Engage fans, meet sales targets, work evenings/weekends, lift light equipment, and represent the Blackhawks Foundation. Commit to ~30-35 home games per season, complete training and background check, and attend mandatory orientation.

Sell season ticket packages, group outings, premium suites and experiences through prospecting, networking and in-person/virtual presentations. Maintain detailed customer data in sales databases, engage fans during games, support game activation, and research industry trends to drive ticket sales.

The Director, Controller oversees financial operations and compliance, advises executive leadership, enforces accounting policies, leads audits, and develops an accounting team.

Perform on-ice game-day duties including scraping ice during timeouts, executing in-arena promotions and intermission entertainment, mascot and fan interaction, distributing promotional items, assisting pre/post-game setup and other event presentation tasks to enhance fan experience.

Seasonal, part-time game day staff who execute in-arena entertainment and promotions, greet fans, distribute giveaways, assist pre/post-game and intermission activities, participate in mascot and fan interactions, and represent the IceHogs brand at events.
