Partners with operations, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, quality, HR, and corporate finance to analyze production costs, variances, scrap, labor, inventory, downtime, and profitability. Provides financial guidance and supports cross-shift operational decision-making.

Designs and develops MCU-based digital hardware systems and RFID applications. Responsibilities include component selection, schematics, PCB layout, timing and signal-integrity analysis, prototyping, board bring-up, troubleshooting, validation, and manufacturing test procedures. Collaborates with firmware and FPGA engineers, contract manufacturers, and CAD teams to deliver production hardware. The role requires expertise in digital circuitry, microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory, peripheral interfaces, low-power electronics, EMI/EMC compliance, and laboratory test equipment.

Drives net-new business growth for RFID labels, systems, and applications. Builds relationships with retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, logistics organizations, and enterprise customers; develops opportunities from concept through pilot, commercialization, and scaled deployment. Translates customer workflows into technically viable RFID solutions, builds ROI-driven business cases, manages long sales cycles, and coordinates engineering, software, hardware, manufacturing, integration, and executive teams to convert opportunities into recurring revenue.

Leads national retail accounts for Checkpoint MAS solutions, including EAS, RFID, Alpha, and IoT. Develops sales strategies, manages revenue and profitability, builds customer relationships, closes complex solution sales, forecasts demand, and identifies new business opportunities. Partners with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, and customers on innovation programs and product strategy. Requires strong presentation, business planning, forecasting, collaboration, and account-growth skills.

Develops RFID labels, smart labels, and packaging solutions by translating customer requirements into manufacturable designs. Selects materials, adhesives, inlays, chips, antennas, and tag constructions; conducts RFID, adhesion, durability, and production-line testing; troubleshoots application and encoding issues; supports prototypes, trials, validation, scale-up, and commercialization. The role also prepares technical documentation, trains internal and external stakeholders, collaborates cross-functionally, and supports standardization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.

Designs and develops high-density analog, digital, RF, and mixed-signal PCBs for RFID readers, IoT devices, and accessories. Responsibilities include schematic review, component selection, high-speed multilayer layout, signal integrity, prototype validation, board bring-up, troubleshooting, test procedure development, and fabrication documentation. Collaborates with firmware, FPGA, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and vendor teams while supporting compliance, sustaining engineering, cost optimization, and production testing.

Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux platform software and Python-based microservices for edge devices. Implement REST APIs, device-to-cloud communication, OTA updates, telemetry, diagnostics, containerized deployments, testing, packaging, and release processes. Collaborate cross-functionally, troubleshoot hardware/software interactions, support manufacturing and field issues, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring code quality, security, and operational supportability.

Validate end-to-end embedded Linux devices and edge platforms through system-level test plans, manual and automated test cases, hardware-in-the-loop and real-hardware validation. Focus on robustness, performance, upgrades, networking, APIs, and integration. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, SDET, manufacturing, and product teams to reproduce field issues, automate regression, document defects, and support release readiness.
