Own biochar market development and sales from Charm’s Fort Lupton site. Build demand among growers, ranchers, co-ops, composters, soil blenders, and related buyers; manage offtakes through application and documentation; support USDA and state funding; coordinate field trials, logistics, and customer education; and provide market feedback to sales, materials science, and carbon-removal teams. The role requires agricultural buyer credibility, CRM discipline, a valid driver’s license, and 50% travel.

Lead development and scale-up of pyrolysis and biomass conversion processes from pilot to commercial scale. Define test plans, resolve scale-up and operability issues, develop process models and documentation, lead safety analyses (HAZOP/FMEA/MOC), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy robust industrial processes.

Design and improve pyrolysis mechanical and electromechanical systems for production, select components, run thermal/flow analysis, develop test and commissioning plans, troubleshoot production issues, collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams, and support on-call production as needed.
