Design and improve pyrolysis and biomass-processing equipment, including mechanical systems, piping, vessels, actuators, sensors, pumps, and blowers. Perform thermal and flow analysis, create and release fabrication drawings, troubleshoot production equipment, and lead testing and commissioning. Collaborate with electrical, automation, manufacturing, fabrication, and operations teams while providing hands-on production support and root-cause analysis.

Lead complex, cross-functional engineering programs spanning biomass, pyrolysis, and injection. Own schedules, milestones, resource allocation, metrics, technical bottlenecks, procurement, commissioning, and transition to operations. Partner with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, procurement, operations, and executives to deliver hardware programs on time, within budget, and aligned with carbon-removal objectives.

Source and secure biomass supply in Colorado by developing contractor and agency partnerships, negotiating supply agreements, managing suppliers, coordinating deliveries with logistics, and collecting chain-of-custody documentation for carbon-registry verification. The role involves tracking forestry and wildfire mitigation projects, monitoring supplier forecasts and risks, supporting agency engagement, and traveling to current and future operating regions.
