Chariot is a technology company with a mission to make moving easier. Moving is a universal life event, with ~10% of people in the US moving into a new home every year, and many large and small organizations relocating to a new space. It’s also one of the most universally dreaded experiences -- no one seems to like to move. Change is often difficult, and moving is almost always accompanied by major change, like adjusting to a new city, job, or school. But on top of this natural stress, the experience of planning and executing a move is stuck in the past, filled with complicated logistics and manual work. Our goal is to create technology that makes moving easier for everyone by facilitating a simple, modern, digital experience. Our product vision: We believe that to meaningfully change the moving industry, we need to start at the root: the ~15,000 moving companies across the US that specialize in planning and executing moves for consumers and organizations. Running a moving company is complicated, and today they lack the modern technology tools they need to succeed. Chariot is building a modern software suite designed for moving companies. Our software will make it easy for moving companies to more efficiently manage their operations, delight their customers, and grow their customer base and services. In turn, we will also make moving easier for the many customers that these companies serve.
