Operate, adjust, and maintain CNC mills, lathes, and Swiss machines to produce precision components. Read blueprints and technical drawings, select tooling, adjust machine controls, inspect parts, operate CMM equipment, and ensure tight tolerances and quality requirements are met. The role requires the ability to run multiple machines and work with various machine controls.

Develop and execute business development plans for precision manufacturing services. Identify prospects, build customer relationships, solicit RFQs, qualify opportunities, support pricing, communicate customer requirements, monitor competitors, maintain sales data in Epicor, and contribute to forecasts. The role requires outside sales experience with OEMs or tier-one suppliers, manufacturing expertise, strategic thinking, strong communication, and travel of up to 25%.

Set up, operate, and inspect CNC mills and lathes (including 5-axis machines) to produce complex parts to tight tolerances. Perform program transfers, tool offsets, setups, finishing, routine PM, material handling, and SPC-based quality checks. Support continuous improvement, 5S, Lean initiatives, and maintain safety and documentation.

Create and maintain CNC programs from prototype to production using CAD/CAM. Develop fixtures, tooling, and processes; support NPI and engineering change activities. Provide technical support to machining operations, implement process improvements, perform cost and capacity analyses, and ensure quality through metrology and SPC methods.

Lead technical manufacturing initiatives for precision CNC machining, automation, tooling and process optimization. Drive new product introductions, fixture and workholding design, root-cause investigations, DFM with customers, and continuous improvement while mentoring engineers and establishing engineering standards.

Lead daily CNC machining operations, develop supervisors and staff, manage NPI and equipment projects, drive lean continuous improvement, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and manage labor, capacity, and departmental budgets.

Lead new product introductions and continuous improvement for precision manufacturing. Develop methods, create BOMs/job routers, coordinate CNC/CAD/CAM, tooling, fixtures, testing, SPC/FMEA, and cross-functional problem solving to meet customer and quality standards.
