Provides registration, data entry, clerical, billing, records, reporting, scheduling, inventory, and meeting support for a hospital Mental Health Department and its physicians. The role coordinates communications with patients, families, healthcare agencies, and internal departments while maintaining accurate statistics and documentation. It also processes insurance and medical record requests and supports psychiatric consultations and emergency services scheduling.

Transports patients between nursing units and ancillary departments using stretchers and wheelchairs. Responds to transport requests, delivers specimens and supplies, cleans and maintains equipment, stores transport devices properly, performs end-of-shift equipment rounds, and records required information. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification, with CPR obtainable within the first year. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

It collaborates with departments to strengthen governance, financial integrity, operational efficiency, and risk management.

Supports surgical and interventional care teams under Registered Nurse supervision. Transports and positions patients, assists with room setup and turnover, cleans equipment and clinical areas, stocks supplies and anesthesia carts, retrieves blood and specimens, performs equipment checks, and maintains safe, organized operating room environments.
