Designs and optimizes manufacturing and assembly processes for generator systems. Responsibilities include facility layout, capacity planning, line balancing, workflow optimization, automation, tooling, data analysis, quality studies, ERP/MRP/MES integration, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with engineering, production, quality, supply chain, operations, and vendors to improve safety, quality, delivery, throughput, and cost performance.

Designs, validates, troubleshoots, and improves electrical systems, wiring harnesses, control panels, and power distribution for generator products. Supports production, testing, prototypes, product launches, root-cause investigations, engineering changes, quality plans, and compliance with electrical standards. Collaborates across engineering, manufacturing, production, quality, service, and operations while contributing to Lean initiatives and customer technical support.

Analyzes manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, cost variances, and financial data. Reviews bills of material, routings, labor rates, inventory transactions, and manufacturing master data to identify discrepancies and operational drivers. Collaborates with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues, support month-end close, prepare cost and inventory reports, improve cost-accounting processes, and assist with audits.

Plan and schedule generator manufacturing activities by ordering materials, monitoring timelines, managing availability, analyzing delays, and organizing production workflows. The role prioritizes operations, coordinates distribution of goods and materials, monitors production issues, and supports cost-effective, timely output. Work occurs in manufacturing and outdoor environments with significant physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds or more.
