Build and maintain wholesale customer relationships, close sales, provide quotes, manage orders through delivery, meet sales goals, and develop new business. Mentor less experienced sales team members, communicate with customers and internal stakeholders, and collaborate with buying and retail partners on new product lines. The role requires strong horticultural and product knowledge, sales reporting skills, customer service, and order management expertise.

Manage day-to-day sales operations for a wholesale garden center, lead and develop a team of up to 10 sales reps, handle hiring, training, scheduling, forecasts, orders, quotes and reservations, track performance metrics, document processes, and liaise with buyers and management to improve product and process flow.
