Counsels Job Corps students on career readiness, job searches, education, military and employment placement, retention, and exit processes. Manages student caseloads, maintains contact and documentation, coordinates mock interviews, job fairs, interviews, job leads, transportation, and support-service referrals. Develops employer and community resource linkages, verifies placement information, supports career assessments, and reconnects former students with employment or education opportunities.

Provides vocational counseling, case management, training, job placement, participant recruitment, assessments, service planning, employer referrals, workshops, and post-employment follow-up for youth and adults facing employment barriers. Maintains participant records, enters data, reports outcomes, and coordinates with schools, agencies, employers, and community organizations under WIOA requirements.

Supports students in a career preparation program by developing curriculum and lesson plans, assessing employment barriers, teaching employability, IT and basic living skills, initiating e-PARs and placement supports, and coordinating orientation and training to improve job placement and retention.

Counsel and coach students aged 16–24 through career transition: develop job search skills, coordinate placements, run workshops and mock interviews, build employer/community partnerships, track outcomes, provide follow-up and support to ensure job/school retention and reconnection.

Perform professional accounting duties including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts and balance sheets, managing imprest and petty cash, processing AP and payroll data, maintaining ledgers and inventory, preparing financial reports, and supporting the Finance Manager.

Plans, organizes, and supervises recreational and non-vocational activities for students, including sports, fitness, trips, swimming, and watersports. Ensures safe, clean activity areas; maintains equipment and property; documents safety issues; supports students during injuries or emotional trauma; and provides equipment-use training. The role may require leading bus trips, conducting water-safety training, and participating in wellness programs.

Provide career transition counseling and job development for students: maintain caseloads, conduct interviews and mock interviews, coordinate job fairs, secure job leads, update student records, connect students to support services, and assist with exit processes and re-engagement after exit.

Supervise and mentor Job Corps trainees in dormitory settings, enforce safety and hygiene, conduct daily inspections, document student behavior and progress, organize recreation and life-skills activities, and facilitate small-group discussions on conflict resolution and peer mediation.

Coordinate work-based learning, internships, and apprenticeships by building employer partnerships, matching students to placements, conducting site visits and safety assessments, monitoring student progress, maintaining placement records, transporting trainees, and supporting student retention through mentoring and counseling.

Manage and coordinate the center's school-to-career and work-based learning program. Recruit and maintain employer work-site partnerships, schedule and transport trainees, monitor trainee progress, counsel trainees, document case notes, and promote community engagement to support student retention and skill development.

Provide supervision, mentoring, and behavior support to 16-24 year-old students; conduct safety inspections; monitor hygiene, chores, recreation, and meals; run life skills groups, conflict resolution, and informal counseling; organize activities and maintain student accountability and center information.
