Provides patient-centered urgent care for patients of all ages, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, diagnostic testing, and procedures such as wound closures, incision and drainage, and splint applications. Collaborates with supervisors, peers, and specialists while efficiently triaging and managing clinic flow. Uses Carbon Health’s CarbyOS AI-powered EHR and participates in ongoing clinical education.

Handle high-volume inbound patient billing calls and emails, research and resolve billing and claims issues, perform claim corrections/resubmissions, update patient billing/insurance records, manage escalations, document interactions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve billing workflows and patient experience.

Provide centralized administrative support for clinics: handle patient communications (phone, email, chat, faxes), verify insurance, process referrals and prior authorizations, troubleshoot platform issues, ensure documentation for virtual visits, and suggest process improvements to maintain operational integrity and patient satisfaction.

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and provide medical assisting support including patient prep, vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and EMR documentation. Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensure radiation safety and proper image transmission to PACS, manage patient flow, and assist with administrative tasks. Participate in training, quality improvement, and report safety or equipment issues.

Process and follow up on medical claims, research and resolve billing issues, ensure accurate patient billing, maintain payer knowledge (including Waystar and payer portals), suggest process improvements, and support centralized billing operations for multiple clinics.

Provide frontline IT support for Carbon Health staff: triage and resolve tickets within SLA, assist remotely via phone/video/written channels, follow Jira workflows and escalation paths, troubleshoot hardware/software and access management, and document troubleshooting and compliance activities.

Perform diagnostic imaging exams using radiography equipment, prepare and position patients, ensure image quality and radiation safety, maintain patient records in the EHR, and collaborate with clinicians to support diagnosis and treatment.

Lead and scale provider recruiting by developing strategy, optimizing recruiting operations and systems (ATS, sourcing), managing vendor relationships, building reporting and workforce analytics, partnering with clinical and operational leaders, and driving continuous improvement to reduce time-to-fill and improve hire quality.

Provide administrative and operational support to People Operations: manage employee documentation and records, maintain internal databases, assist with benefits and payroll processes, support onboarding/offboarding and team logistics, and perform general office duties while collaborating with the People team.

Provide HR support to 1300+ employees across multiple countries: respond to HR ticketing inquiries, maintain compliant employee records, assist with documentation, audits, and HR processes, generate employee documents, and support People Operations projects and process improvements to ensure a positive employee experience.

Part-time clinical support role performing POCT, EKGs, phlebotomy, medication administration, vitals/rooming, front-desk check-in and phone duties, EHR documentation, room maintenance, and assisting providers to ensure efficient, safe patient care.

Lead and oversee dermatology clinical trials (Phase I-IV) as Principal Investigator: ensure FDA and GCP compliance, perform patient assessments, manage sub-investigators and research staff, evaluate eligibility and feasibility, attend site and sponsor visits, and collaborate with regulatory, clinical ops, and engagement teams to deliver high-quality trial outcomes.
