CanvaLoop through its proprietary technology, converts agricultural waste to textile fibres. Textiles are omni-present- whether in the form of shirts we wear, socks we pull up, scarfs and bags we accessorise with or the carpets we walk on, pillows we sleep on or to the tents we camp in, everything is textile. Crude oil derivatives (polyester, nylon, rayon etc) and cotton constitute more than 98% of the total textiles consumed on the planet. Both crude based textiles and cotton have adverse ecological footprint. We are an alternative fibre and a material science company, wherein the fibres created are- socially inclusive, functionally superior and environmentally sustainable. Our fibres give unprecedented affordability, scalability and adaptability as the fibres are compatible with the current infrastructure. Together we are trying to have a positive impact not only on the textile industry but on our ailing planet also, by utilising agro waste and providing livelihood opportunities to small farmers. We have 4 business divisions: 1. 'Canvaloop Fibre' - Signature fibre business making cottonised hemp fibres from CBD and oilseed hemp. 2. 'Natloop' - banana and pineapple agro-waste blended yarns in partnership with Meher International. 3. 'Hemptex' - hemp yarns in partnership with Bombay Hemp Company 4. 'Slow by Canvaloop' - Flagship D2C brand.
