Supervise administrative operations at Callen-Lorde’s Brooklyn healthcare site, including patient scheduling, staffing, payroll support, training, financial processes, supply ordering, accommodations, and patient concern resolution. Manage staff performance and attendance, support recruitment, oversee front-end billing and insurance verification, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Collaborate with site leadership, providers, patient accounts, and other operations supervisors while supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Lead enterprise-wide nursing education, onboarding, competency validation, and professional development. Design and implement orientation and annual competency programs, mentor staff, standardize clinical workflows, support leadership coaching, ensure regulatory compliance, and report metrics to drive quality improvement and workforce readiness across sites.

Serve as lead billing contact to ensure accurate patient account generation and reimbursement across medical, behavioral health, and dental systems. Manage the full billing cycle including insurance verification, authorizations, claims entry/re-billing/corrections, payment posting and reconciliation, account maintenance, and patient billing inquiries while staying current on billing regulations.

Provide patient-centered case management to remove barriers to care, coordinate appointments and benefits, connect patients to housing and social services, educate and empower self-advocacy, and liaise between patients and community providers to ensure continuity of care.

Lead enterprise HR strategy and operations, advising executive leadership on workforce planning, labor relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, talent acquisition, learning and development, and HR systems to support organizational growth and sustainability.

Provide care coordination and reduce barriers for patients with complex medical and social needs (including people living with HIV). Assist with appointment follow-up, benefits navigation, housing support, patient education, and liaise between providers and community organizations to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Provide administrative support to senior leadership: manage calendars and meeting logistics, screen communications, take minutes and track action items, coordinate events, prepare reports and materials, track projects and corporate records, process expenses and timekeeping, represent the organization, and handle confidential personnel and financial information.
