Manages legal operations across multiple entities, including the full contract lifecycle, legal records, regulatory and corporate filings, governance support, claims and litigation tracking, outside counsel administration, ethics hotline intake, and information governance. Designs and implements legal department processes, workflows, reporting, and technology systems. Supervises legal support staff and handles privileged and confidential information with discretion.

Provides legal counsel across association, nonprofit, insurance, and related entities. Advises on legislation, regulations, governance, insurance compliance, policy forms, underwriting, product development, regulatory filings, market conduct exams, reinsurance, and litigation. Drafts legal memoranda and legislation, communicates recommendations to leadership and boards, manages outside counsel, supports regulatory agencies, and develops member communications regarding legal and regulatory changes.

Advises CDA and affiliated insurance entities on legal, legislative, governance, regulatory, insurance, and litigation matters. Interprets laws and regulations, prepares legal memoranda and filings, supports policy and product development, liaises with insurance regulators, manages external counsel, assists with market conduct exams and reinsurance renewals, and provides clear guidance to senior leaders and boards.
